Here is how it works:
- Each child gets a punch card with their name on it.
- The teacher designates a place for them to be kept in the room.
- When a child does something wonderful, the teacher asks the child to get his or her punch card and then punches a hole in the card.
- Once the child completes their entire card with holes from the teacher, the child then trades it in for a treasure chest prize.
- The child then moves on to the next seasonal punch card & starts the entire process again.
